Help
Using Directory Search
Simply enter keywords or partial words in the SEARCH FOR box then click the SEARCH button. That's all there is to it.
Keywords
Searches are based on 'normal' phonebook browsing. Provide words that are part of the beginning of a name. You may enter more than one word separated by spaces. Search only accepts letters and numbers. For very short names that are less than three, pad it with a space to the right on your first submit. Normally less than three character words are not accepted.
Examples:
To look for somebody whose last name is 'Cruz' type: cruz
To look for somebody whose family name starts with 'Bagat' whose first name is 'Pedro' or 'Peter' type: bagat pedro peter
For somebody whose last name is 'Tan' whose name is either 'Ma Minerva' or 'Maria Minerva' type: tan ma minerva
Search Results
Directory Search will show you how many listings it has found at the top of the list. If there are many, "Page" numbers will be shown at the bottom of the list. Click on those to open those pages.
Items Found
Items found includes basic publicly available information such as: name, phone carrier, list of up to two phone numbers, fax number, and address. Listed names are clickable. Clicking it will take you to the full contact file for that item. It will include all available phone numbers, web links, mobile numbers, photo, etc.
Directory Detail
To know more about a particular directory listing, just click on the Name of that entry. It will take you to the Directory Detail page showing all relevant information.
Tips
Directory Search accepts colloquial keywords or popular local references. Like for example, if you want to know the phone number of "Island City Mall" you may enter those words or simply "icm." "Philippine National Police" is popularly known as "barracks" so you can enter that keyword instead. Or "hnu," "divine," or "dwc" for "Holy Name Univesity." Or "UB" for "University of Bohol." Or "cathedral" for "St. Joseph Cathedral." You get the idea. Not all of our listing is enabled to accept this feature, but we're working on it.
